Hayward Field Campaign 2021: Our clients for this campaign were Wieden + Kennedy and Mixed Zone Media. They asked us to create a campaign and streaming partnership that will help bring more awareness towards the sport of track and field, specifically the NCAA Track and Field Division I Championships. This championship will also be the unveiling of the new monumental Hayward Field. As a result, my group was one of the four finalists selected to virtually pitch our campaign to representatives from Wieden + Kennedy, Mixed Zone Media, and the University of Oregon.
Brand Book for Happy Candles: For one advertising course, I was given the assignment to create a brand book on any chosen product. I chose Happy Candles, which is a candle shop located in Portland, OR. I’ve grown up with these candles and wanted to represent and promote the joy and comfort these pure soy candles bring throughout my campaign.
Social Media Coordinator: I was the social media coordinator for my sorority for a year, where I managed all social media accounts, created weekly content, planned events, and published newsletters to stay in contact with alumni. I have included screenshot examples of what our Instagram feed looked like during my role.
Sanvello Campaign 2020: For one of my advertising courses, my group and I created a campaign for the app Sanvello. Sanvello is an affordable, accessible option for those seeking to improve their mental health and decrease their anxiety. College students are often stressed and may feel as if they don’t have time to pay attention to their mental health. We decided to target low-income, full-time college students that have been negatively impacted due to COVID-19. Our goal is to increase the use and awareness of this app among college students and make Sanvello stand out from similar apps.
Passion for Volunteering Video Story: For one class, we were asked to make a video on an individual and their passion. I based my video on my grandmother, Barbra Kendall, and her love for volunteering. My grandmother revolves her life around helping others by showing love, comfort, and security. This video presents different clips of organizations and places she currently volunteers at to help fulfill this passion.
Fab Forty: I was asked to create a project that revolved around doing some action for 40 consecutive days, leaving room for creativity in any shape or form. During this time, I was in quarantine due to the global pandemic, which stirred many emotions and allowed me to express myself through collages. During those difficult times, I expressed my feelings through colorful images and a central quote. I kept the color scheme the same for simplicity.
Maui Go Pro Video: Ever since I was young, I have always enjoyed making go-pro videos, capturing fun experiences and excursions. My go-pro was always in my hand, ready to capture any moment. This video includes my families vacation in Maui in 2018 and includes footage of various excursions and fun moments.
Infographic: I created this infographic which focuses on mental illness and the awareness that needs to be spoken. This graphic provides various important facts and statistics, giving a better understanding for how common mental illnesses are and how important the topic is.
